Many of our books are rare, antique (over 100 years old), hard-to-find, collector's items and they make perfect gifts or additions to any bibliophile's library.

Book Repairs
Prior to shipping your order we will check and repair any damage we find with your book treasure. This means we will wrap and secure dustjacket's in Mylar, we will set and make sure bindings are firm and we will repair or clean any dirt and grime from your book as best we can. With almost 2 decades of experience and certified bibliophiles on staff we go out of our way to make sure every order is perfect when it arrives.

What is vintage ephemera?
To collectors ephemera are vintage printed or written items which originally served some specific purpose and were not expected to be retained or preserved, like photos, hand written notes, or ticket stubs.
What is provenance?
A record of ownership of a work of art or an antique, used as a guide to authenticity or quality. Many vintage books have book plates or hand written names from their previous owners. From beautiful calligraphy to detailed book plaques, the majority of older books have book plates or hand written names enshrined from previous owners.
*We consider these books to be unique, with their own history. Previous owners' paper ephemera and provenance go hand in hand, many times by helping us authenticate first editions. If we see a letter in the book from 1973 and the first edition was published in 1973, we know it's likely authentic. Not every book contains ephemera, consider yourself lucky if you find one that does!
